Equity calls, with the data source stated plainly

Equities are the market where the gap between "we have market data" and "we have the market’s data" is widest, and pretending otherwise would undermine everything else on this site. TradeDiscuss grades US equity calls against IEX 5m bars. IEX is a single exchange, not the consolidated SIP tape, so its prints are a real but partial view of where a stock traded. That limitation is stated on every equity call page rather than buried in a footnote, because it changes what "outcome checked" actually means.

Session handling follows from the same principle. Equity calls are graded during US cash hours only, from 14:30 to 21:00 UTC on weekdays. Overnight and pre-market activity is not used to fill a target or trigger a stop, so a call cannot be resolved by a print that most participants could not have traded against. A call whose expiry lands outside the cash session carries forward to the next open, and a hole in the series inside an open session sends the call to manual review instead of producing a number.

Because of these constraints, equity instruments start as listed rather than callable. An instrument becomes callable only once its feed is verified and its public-display terms are confirmed in writing — API access is not the same thing as the right to publish prices, store history, render them in share images or publish statistics derived from them. Where that confirmation is still outstanding, you can browse the instrument and read its record, but you cannot yet post a call on it.
